Surge

Terms of Service

Last updated 1 October 2026

These terms apply to businesses that use Surge and to people who message a business through Surge. By using Surge you agree to them.

1. The service

Surge is an AI assistant on WhatsApp and LINE operated by [company name — set LEGAL_NAME], [address — set LEGAL_ADDRESS]. It helps businesses answer customers, take orders and bookings, manage their catalog and admin, and carry out tasks they request. Features may change as we improve the service.

2. Business accounts

3. Customers of a business

When you order, book or pay through Surge, your agreement is with that business — not with us. The business is responsible for its products, services, prices, refunds and fulfilment. Please contact the business with any issue; we'll help connect you.

4. AI and automation

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Surge to: break the law; send spam or unsolicited messages; impersonate a business or person; sell prohibited goods or services; harass anyone; collect others' data without permission; or attempt to manipulate, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

6. Plans, credits and payments

7. Availability

We work hard to keep Surge running, but it depends on third parties such as WhatsApp, LINE and AI providers and may sometimes be unavailable. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Surge is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by a business's own products, prices, policies or decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Ending use

You can stop using Surge at any time — customers can reply STOP; businesses can ask us to close their account. We may suspend or end access for breaches of these terms or to protect users.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above; continued use means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom.
